Tinjure or TMJ area is one of the popular tourist destinations of Nepal. Maybe there is no Nepalese people who didn’t hear about Tinjure Hill.
TMJ or Tinjure Milke and Jaljale area is known as the capital of Rhododendron. Huge numbers of people go there every year to see the beauty of Rhododendrons.
According to the local people, there are various multiple species of Rhododendron in that forest.
We heard that we can reach the famous Pathibhara Temple through this route. So we also decided to visit this place.

Bhojpur Sadarmukam
Our current location was Bhojpur Sadarmukam. It is one of the best markets if Eastern Nepal to do various trades. We can easily do trading here. We can buy local traditional clothing, Local drinks and we can get the local taste of Bhojour Nepal.
The famous food of Bhojpur Nepalis is Sukuti and Tongba and Taksare Raksi. There are famous religious places also available such as Sidhdhakali Temple and many more.

We leave Bhojpur Sadarmukam early morning to reach out to Tinjure Milke. Our local motorcycle of Bajaj was with us. I and my wife took that motorcycle and start to drive.
We crossed Shyamshila, Hilebhanjyang, Tiwaribhanjyang, Pyauli , Odane, Jarayotar, and Leguwa.
We reached Leguwa
Leguwa is the border of Dhankuta and Bhojour District.. It is one of the smallest markets us the bank of the Arun River.
We decided to eat a Local Chicken meal there. there was the best chicken meal I ever eat in my life. The taste was good and it was cheap also. The rate is almost 250 Nepalese rupees which is almost 2 UDD dollars per meal.
My wife also loved that chicken meal and we again crossed the Bhojpur and Dhankuta district Border through the bridge. There was no bridge for decades but now there is bridge also available to cross Arun river.

The road was dusty and muddy road. It was very risky and challenging to drive there. Our motorcycle was moving from left to right and sometimes the dust was coming the same as the fug. It was hilarious.
We covered our heads using a scarf but the dust was over our heads. That was one of the craziest rides of my life. but now the political leader of Nepal’s trying to upgrade that road.
After few years back the road will be very nice. I hope so. After the Leguwa Bazar, we crossed the Dikure and Pakhirbas. Finally, we reached Hile Bazaar.
Famous Tongba of Dhankuta Hile
When we reached Dhankuta Hile the weather was cool and cold. The view from Hile Bazar was looking misty. We need to choose the north side of the road to reach Tinjure so we took that road.
The south side of the road goes up to Dharan Nepal. You can also easily go to Namaste Jharana and Bhedetar also.

We finally reached took the picture of Tongba which is located in the Dhankuta Hile,. There are many types of statues available according to the famous things around there. So that the local government of Dhankuta Hile keeps the Tongba Statue.
After taking the Picture of Dhankuta Hile Tongba we start our journey to Tinjure (TMJ). There is basically a junction of roads. The western side road goes to Bhojpur, the South side road goes to Dharan and Dhankuta, and the North side road goes to Tinjure Milke (TMJ).

Jorpati to Sidhuwa Dhankuta
After a few minutes of driving, I reached the Jorbati Bazar. This Bazar is also located in Madhya Pahadi Lok Marga. The altitude of Jorpati is almost 2100 Meter height. We have to cross this tiny market and we should take the left side road to reach Sidhuwa Dhankuta.
After a few hundred meters, we reached the Nigale cement factory. The road was very narrow but the Motorcycle riding was adventurous on this Road. We chose that Cement factor.

Sidhuwa Bajar is also one of the popular markets located in Dhankuta Nepal. This tiny Sidhuwa Bazar have almost 2200 Meters in Height. After a few minutes of Bike riding, we found the Famous Cauliflower Chowk which is located in Sidhuwa Bazar.
The statute of Cauliflower is located there. We Took a Few photographs of that statue then we crossed that. We maintained our Bike in Sidhuwa Bazar and we start our further journey.
Journey to Basantapur
Finaly we found a small tiny temple called Singha Devi Than Mandir. That Temple was tiny but beautiful and was located at a height of 2500 Meters. After that we reached Chitre. There was a small pond also. We talked about that pond with the inhabitant of that place.

We continue our journey to Basantapur. After a few minutes of bike riding we found the Basantapur Bazar. There was a beautiful statue of Rhododendron. There was Tourism Information Center also and Cholung Park Also.
There was a Football ground also. The forest and the hilly area were looking awesome. The weather was also very clear and amazing at that time. Basantapur Bazar was located in the Laligurash Municipality.
We Reached Tinjure Hill
We start our Motorbike ride again. After a few distances of riding, we Left Madhya Pahadi Lokmarga and moved on to Tute Deurali. Tute Deurali is a tourist destination and starting point of Tinjure Hill. We can go to Khandbari Bazar also from there. The off-road starts from there.

We didn’t visit the RR garden. According to the local people, RR garden park was also one of the best tourist destinations. The off-road was surrounded by Rhododendron Forest. The Rhododendron was blooming all over the forest.

It was looking like heaven. We kept our Bike on the edge of the cliff and start to climb the peak of Tinjure Hill. The stairs and cliff was looking dangerous. People were shouting and dancing over there. We also reach the peak of Tinjure dada where there was a small temple.

The name of the temple is called Sano Pathibhara. This temple was situated at a height of 2900 Meters. We took a few videos and we took a few photos also. I and my wife were so happy at that moment.
There was a plain area at the peak of that hill. Few trees and few bushes were giving us pleasure and happiness. We laugh, We sang and we dance there.

Chaukibazar to Gufapokhari
We decide to go far from the Tinjure Dada. We decided to go to Gufaphokhari. We crossed the tough bumpy off-road and that road was too much dangerous and slippery too. We came down from 2900 Meters to 2700 Meters. We found a small market. That market name was Chauki Bazar and there was a Tinjure Basic School Also.

We Crossed Tinjure and after a few minutes of bike riding we found another small village. The market name was Madi, Mangalbare. That village was also in the perfect location. There was also a junction and we choose the right side of the road. The road was muddy and narrow in the market area,

In the route of Gufaphokhari, there was a small forest and Rhododendron was blooming. We took photos of those Rhododendran there. The thick Rhododendron forest was looking horrible. There was Lam Pokhari also. But the pond was too small.

That Lampokhari was also a height of 2900 Meters. Finally, After a few hours of Bike riding, we reached Gufa Pokhari. Gufa Pokhari is one of the religious and historic famous ponds located in the Eastern part of Nepal. This pond is located in the border of Dhankuta, Tehrathum, and Sankhuwasabha District.

This Gufapokhari lake was extremely amazing and located at the peak of the hill. There is no water resource that adds extra water and there is no outflow river stream also. It looks magical, How this pond is located at the peak of the hill and the nature is amazing.

Gufaphokhari was also a height of 2900 Meters. When we reached that was Holi Purnima a festival of colors. Peoples were shouting and climbing the hill and was going to the Viewpoint of Gufapokhari But we were tired so we didn’t go to the viewpoint.

We heard that there was Khoping Pokhari also located on the north side of Gufa Pokhari. But the distance was too far and the time was also limited so we didn’t go there.

There are a few hotels also available. You can take the local food taste there. Tongba and Sukuti are one of the best food available there. Sometimes You cannot get hotels there in the tourism season so if you have a tent you can use it.

We also face the same problem. All hotel rooms were booked by others and we went to Suke Bazar and we got a room there. We eat the Sukuti and Tongba and We decided to take a rest in Hotel. We decided to go to Myanglung Bazar from there. So we slept as soon as possible.
